About this product
In the mythologized world, the legend of vodka is by no means the main thing, but also far from the last place. Vodka is our curse and our treasure. The history of vodka in the national consciousness is to some extent our history. And few people know that vodka, by historical standards, is not just a young drink. It is enough to immerse yourself in the study of Russian distilling, and it becomes obvious that the truly national strong alcohol in Russia was not vodka, which was born only at the end of the nineteenth century, but a completely different drink, now forgotten - bread wine, or polugar. But the most important thing is that the true story, based on almost all available sources, is much more interesting than any legend.
