Russian Russian military historian-emigrant A.A. Kersnovsky (1907-1944) "History of the Russian Army", published abroad in the 1930s - 1940s, is devoted to the history of military affairs from the time of Peter the Great to 1917. The work was written for 5 years, from 1933 to 1938, and consists of 4-x parts.
Russian Russian Army History Volume I: The first volume of the "History of the Russian Army" includes a description of the military operations of the Russian army from the time of Peter I to the Battle of Borodino: "From Narva to Paris 1700-1814."
Volume II: The second volume tells about the military actions of the army from the capture of Paris to the conquest of Central Asia (1814-1881): about the Holy Alliance and military settlements, about the conquest of the Caucasus and the Eastern War, about transformations in the army and Turkestan campaigns.
Russian Russian Army military operations during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905 and in the first half of the World War (1914-1915).
Volume IV: In the fourth volume, the author continues the story about the last war of Peter the Great's army - about the actions of Russian troops on the fronts of the World War in 1915-1917, analyzes the causes of the defeats of the once glorious army, tries to comprehend the events in February and October 1917 in his own way. The last two years of the Russian army's existence (1915-1917) are described, which became an attempt to adequately get out of the confrontation in the First World War and keep the empire striving for steady disintegration.
