The book is printed according to the text of the rare edition "The Grand Ducal, royal and Imperial hunting in Russia" by the remarkable Russian historian Nikolai Ivanovich Kutepov. Four volumes of this fundamental work were created from 1895 to 1911. They contain a huge amount of information not only about hunting, but also about the way of life and customs of Russia from ancient times to the end of the XIX century. During the design of this single-volume edition, more than 500 illustrations by the best Russian and foreign artists were selected. This makes the book especially informative for anyone who is interested not only in hunting, but also in the history of Russia.
