This richly illustrated edition was prepared for the exhibition "Poiret – the King of Fashion", held in the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin" from September 2011 to January 2012. The book consists of the biography and creative path of Paul Poiret and the catalog of the master's products presented directly.

The catalog includes works from the Gallier Museum — the Paris City Fashion Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the State Hermitage Museum (St. Petersburg), the International Perfume Museum (Grasse, France). In addition, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) kindly allowed the materials of the book "Poiret" published by him in 2007 to be included in the catalog.
