Damascus steel knife "Sokol" Zlatoust

The Sokol knife made of Damascus steel is an item that organically combines utilitarian power and exquisite decorativeness. His blade is forged from a multi-layered damask with a characteristic wavy pattern resembling the feathers of a bird of prey. At the base, the blade is decorated with a gilded floral ornament, turning into a massive guard. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch, polished to a high gloss and framed with gold-plated brass fittings and the finest hand engraving.

The Zlatoust technique of artistic metalworking is used in the design of the scabbard: the surface features a landscape with a mountain range, hand-carved in gilded and nickel-plated brass. Smooth lines, shadows and details are drawn with jewel—like precision - the landscape seems to come to life on metal. The decorations are made in a mixed technique using blackening and engraving, emphasizing the complex structure of the composition and the volume of the image. All decorative elements are created manually, which makes each piece unique.

The Sokol knife is ideal for a gift to a person whose character combines strength and nobility. This is the choice of a hunter, collector or a leader with a fine taste, respecting traditions and appreciating objects with character. It preserves the spirit of nature and the power of the master's hand, and can become both the center of the collection and a personal mascot.
