Souvenir dirk "Eternal Flame" on a stand, Zlatoust

The souvenir dirk "Eternal Flame" is a symbolic embodiment of courage, memory and high honor. The author's composition from Zlatoust was created for those who know how to appreciate iconic objects with historical and artistic overtones. The dirk with a massive guard decorated with stylized flame elements is complemented by a scattering of white crystals and a large cabochon insert of a rich ruby hue, accentuated on the scabbard. The handle, made of black material with a velvety texture, is completed with a solemn crown in gold and enamel. The composition is placed on a lacquered stand with a decoration in the form of a red star, referring to the exploits of veterans and the immortal feat.

The Zlatoust technique, dating back to the 19th century, demonstrates its peak here — complex gold and silver engraving is combined with coinage, electroplated gilding and filigree elaboration of small details. The surface of the steel is decorated with etching and hand-polished to a mirror-like shine. This technology, which requires not only a delicate skill from the master, but also an artistic flair, gives each element of the product expressive depth and relief, turning the dirk from a weapon artifact into a work of applied art.

Such a dirk is not just a collection item, but a full—fledged accent in an office, on a marble console or in a showcase, designed for a person with a strong sense of style, historical reflection and a desire to surround himself with things with content. It is appropriate as a gift to a high-ranking military officer, statesman or collector who appreciates expressive symbolism and perfection of execution.
