The author's dagger "Tsar's Hunt" from Zlatoust is not just a weapon, but a majestic work of decorative and applied art, imbued with the spirit of imperial elegance. The straight blade line, decorated with a Damask texture, is combined with the exquisite design of the handle made of valuable wood, complemented by a decorative finial stylized as a crystal dome. The guard is crossed by a sword-shaped cross with four decorative elements imitating star shapes, and the pommel is decorated with a coat of arms in the form of a shield. The ornate scabbard, edged with gold plates with delicate engraving, is covered with black skate leather and decorated with large cubic zirconia.
The Zlatoust technique, which has reached perfection over two centuries of its development, is known for the finest etching on metal, hand engraving and filigree gilding using high-quality titanium nitride. Thanks to this skill, each line on the steel acquires the character of jewelry, and the combination of gold with blackening and stone inserts turns the object into an artifact that does not lose its value over time. All the elements were created manually — without templates and mass forms, in a workshop where ancient craft traditions are observed.
Such a dirk is the choice of a person who knows how to see a weapon not as a function, but as a form of expression of power, nobility and historical memory. It is appropriate in the office of the head of a large corporation, in the boardroom, in the collection of those who collect symbols of power and culture. It's not just a gift — it's a status embedded in metal and stone.
