Saint Seraphim of Sarov is best known as the creator of the Diveevsky Monastery near Sarov. His life path is full of miraculous phenomena, and icons depicting the hieromonk have a special power — they enlighten, guide on the right path, heal from mental and physical injuries. It is believed that this saint listens attentively to everyone and tries to help as much as he can, both in great and small ways.

Before becoming a heavenly patron saint for believers, Seraphim went through a difficult life path. As a child, he fell from a high church bell tower, but turned out to be alive and unharmed. From a young age, Seraphim aspired to serve the Lord. Rejecting the worldly goods that his parents had, he took monastic vows to strengthen his connection with God.

During his earthly asceticism, Seraphim was even more gifted by his Heavenly Father: having received the power to heal from ailments, he generously used his gift for the benefit of people. In addition, the monk became famous for accurate predictions of future events, helped questioners with advice, and suggested solutions in difficult life situations.

The icon of St. Seraphim of Sarov still enlightens worshippers, helps them find grace, and brings peace to their souls. The saint is remembered on January 15, June 27, August 1 and 10, as well as at the Cathedral of Nizhny Novgorod Saints.

The icon can be placed on the table or hung on the wall, there is a special hole on the leg.
