About this product
Art. : 125-138

The image belongs to the iconographic type of the Lord Almighty (Pantocrator). The word Pantocrator (Greek. — almighty) is formed from "pan" — everything and "krator" — strong.
A characteristic feature of this type of icons is the image of the blessing hand of the Lord and an open or closed book. Mostly there is a waist—length image of the Savior, you can often see full-length images and extremely rarely - chest images. The Lord appears here as the Provident of the world, as the Arbiter of the destinies of this world, the Giver of truth. Images of Christ Pantocrator were given a large place in the wall painting. There is often a fresco or mosaic depicting the Savior the Almighty in the central dome of the temples. This icon of the Savior belongs to the masterpieces of the late academic art of the Constantinople tradition. Currently, the image is kept in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.

The icon has always been considered the kindest, most sincere gift to a believer. Presenting an icon as a gift is the best way to express all your most sincere good feelings: respect, love, appreciation.

The icon was painted in compliance with all iconographic canons. To create the work, the jewelers used exclusively high-quality, environmentally friendly, and most importantly, beautiful materials that perfectly match each other.

The basis of the work is made by the method of tempera painting by Levkas on a lime board, which allows you to work out in detail even the smallest elements of the composition, to achieve maximum expressiveness. Inside, the icon is lined with a scattering of multicolored cubic zirconia, rhinestones, pearls and other stones that perfectly match each other. The icon is decorated in a luxurious patterned kiosk decorated with gilding.
