The icon of the stained oak "The Mother of God of the Seven-Arrow"

The seven—pointed icon of the Mother of God is one of the most deeply revered among the Orthodox. There are many miracles associated with it, one of which occurred when it was found. Legend has it that a certain peasant had a prophecy about getting rid of ailments with the help of prayer before the Virgin, after which he found the prototype in a church near Vologda and received the desired healing.

The hands of the Virgin are folded in prayer, sorrow and pain are visible on her Face. It is believed that the Mother of God is grieving for her Son Jesus, who voluntarily accepted suffering from people, and humanity itself, vegetating in sins.

In front of the image of Our Lady of the Seven Arrows, they pray with all sincerity, ask for forgiveness, pacification, and healing from ailments. The Virgin protects from quarrels, softens the heart, promotes reconciliation.
