The large imperial crown was commissioned by Empress Catherine II for her coronation in 1762 by the masters of G.F. Eckart and I. Pozier. In terms of luxury and splendor, it surpassed the crowns of all European monarchs. Over the next centuries, it was used at the coronations of all future Russian emperors. The original is now kept in the Diamond Fund of Russia.
This product is assembled by hand from the images and sketches of the original. Designed and adapted for ready-made Swarovski crystal jewelry inserts by a creative team led by Dmitry Ovsyannikov. During the work, the main attention was focused on the general aesthetic perception of the cultural and historical masterpiece of jewelry art. Made in Russia in tribute to the memory of the great masters of the past.
