Decanter for wine "Nymph"

The decanter is designed for decanting wine — the process of cleansing wine from fine particles and tartar.  Young wine is decanted to saturate with oxygen ("let it breathe") and accelerate the oxidation of tannins, substances of plant origin with tannic properties. They are what make wines tart and a little astringent. After aeration, the young wine acquires a more harmonious and mature taste. The wine is poured into the decanter slowly, the whole bottle. The filled decanter is swung to help the liquid to be oxygenated. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the wine is poured from the vessel into a glass in a thin stream.

Wars deprived people of their property, and sometimes turned them into slaves. Therefore, the expression "everyone will sit under his own vine" is used as a symbol of peace.  The vine in the Christian tradition is a symbol of Christ.
