The first works of porcelain by the world-famous artist were the result of a joint project by Mikhail Shemyakin and the Imperial Porcelain Factory. The delicate, exquisite coloring of the service harmoniously combines with its shape, created at the end of the 19th century at the Imperial Porcelain Factory. The painting uses natural gold with semiprecious agate engraving.

The painting is made in the technique of overglaze painting with overglaze paints and a gold-containing preparation. On both sides of the body of the sugar bowl, teapot, and creamer are images of the fairy-tale heroes of the ballet "Silkworm" by artist M. Shemyakin.
