Russian Russian porcelain set design "Cobalt grid", the trademark of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, is based on the painting of the first Russian porcelain set, made by the creator of Russian porcelain Dmitry Vinogradov in the middle of the XVIII century for Empress Elizabeth Petrovna. The classic cobalt pattern appeared in 1944, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Russia's first porcelain factory.
In 1958, the painting "Cobalt Grid" by the artist Anna Yatskevich on the "Tulip" shape was awarded the gold medal of the World Art and Industrial Exhibition in Brussels. Since the 1990s, the line of the famous service has been constantly expanded, decorating all new forms with the "Cobalt Grid" pattern, which has become not only the "hallmark" of the plant, but also the symbol of St. Petersburg.
