The 925 sterling silver cup was made by the craftsmen of the Velikoustyug plant Severnaya Rabble. The alloys contained in the sample give the products durability and protection from mechanical damage.

The Veliky Ustyug Severnaya Cherny Factory is a unique enterprise of folk art that developed in the city of Veliky Ustyug in the 17th century, preserving and developing the three–hundred-year-old traditions of the ancient Russian art of silver blackening, which has no analogues in modern jewelry. All products are made by hand in a traditional way for folk art, while observing the basic techniques of ancient craftsmen in technology.
