The Chrysostom caviar bowl is made in the format of a small tabletop object that combines fine art casting, filigree engraving and transparent crystal into a single composition. The crystal clear bowl, the sides of which play with light, is inserted into a massive golden rim with blackening, decorated with floral ornaments. The lid repeats the aesthetics of the base: a dense layer of gilding, the finest curls, a black cabochon stone in the top and a miniature handle in the form of a sturgeon, made with amazing precision. On a dolerite stand, deeply polished to a mirror, there is a decorative leg with a dense ornament that builds a vertical balance of the entire structure. The ensemble is rounded off by a spoon decorated with a painted cup and relief elements.
The object is based on a combination of jewelry techniques of Chrysostom: gilding, nickel plating, hand engraving and hot enamel. The crystal bowl is made with a classic star pattern on the bottom and clear vertical edges that emphasize the play of light. The dolerite used for the base provides stability and visual depth: its rich dark texture enhances the luster of the metal and highlights intricate patterns. Every detail, from the miniature joints to the relief lines, is designed so that the composition reads solidly and solemnly.
This item is chosen by collectors who appreciate artistic metal, true gourmets, for whom serving delicacies is as important as taste itself, as well as people who are accustomed to surround themselves with things that emphasize the status and aesthetics of a private space. The caviar bowl is appropriate in a home office, on a festive table, or as a representative gift with an unmistakable emphasis on luxury, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions of artistic Chrysostom.
