Balthazar rotates 180degrees around his hips like the precision machine he is; then everything changes: the smiling Balthazar becomes a darker, more intimidating version. A cold, hard skull with formidable teeth and deep-set ruby-red eyes inspired by the Terminator movies. There is a moon phase indicator in his chest that you can adjust manually, delivering one of Balthazar's many tactile pleasures.

In a good or bad mood, Balthazar does more than just display hour-long events, and also rotates around his hips, his arms articulate at both shoulders and elbows, and his hands can squeeze and hold objects.

Named after Max Busser's ancestors and family traditions, Balthazar not only looks like an incredibly durable piece of sophisticated high-precision microengineering, it is exactly that: an incredible 618 components are included in the design of his body and watch movement, which have more details than in the most sophisticated wristwatches.

Rotate his torso 180 degrees and discover the terrifying Balthazar along with the moon phase indicator in two hemispheres, which should help you anticipate changes in your mood. To quote Darth Vader from Star Wars: "If only you knew the power of the dark side."

The bright side: Balthazar's watch movement, which has a 35-day power reserve, shows "slow" jumps of hours and minutes using two discs on his chest, and the power reserve indicator is located on his stomach. This side of Balthazar may be serene, but he is still always alert: his red eyes, which constantly scan the surroundings, are actually 20-second retrograde displays. 

The Dark Side: The absolute nature of Balthazar's darkness is revealed by a cold, hard skull with menacing teeth and deep-set ruby-red eyes. But this is not the whole threat, since Balthazar's chest also has an index of the phases of the Moon with an accuracy of 122 years. You can adjust the moon phase manually, providing one of the many tactile pleasures of Balthazar.

Balthazar doesn't just display hourly events: in addition to rotating around his hips, his arms articulate at both shoulders and elbows, and his hands can grip and hold objects.

Finally, Balthazar's shield hides and protects the secret of his amazing power: a built-in key for winding the clock and setting the time.
