Konstantin Beskov is a Soviet football player and football coach. He played for Dynamo Moscow, coached all the leading clubs in Moscow and the USSR national team. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. Honored Coach of the USSR.

This edition was published with the support of the Kiev State Institute of Physical Culture, founded in 1930 in Kharkov and transferred to Kiev in 1944. At the time of the release of the training manual (1976)  The teachers of the Institute have completed over 1,700 methodological and research works. Among the pupils and students of the Institute: absolute champions of the XVII Olympic Games in gymnastics, Honored Masters of sports L. Latynina, B. Shakhlin; champion of the XVII Olympic Games, Honored Master of Sports V. Tsybulenko; honored masters of Sports Yu. Titov, N. Otkalenko, N. Konyaeva, I. Deryugin, etc. Many pupils, teachers and students of the Institute were awarded orders and medals of the Soviet Union.
