Alexander Kerensky is a Russian politician and statesman; minister, then minister-Chairman of the Provisional Government. Member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party. One of the founders of the Russian Republic.
In March 1917, Kerensky was appointed Minister of Justice of the Provisional Government. On his first day in his new position, he surprised the entire government by shaking hands with the doorman and the courier. An old doorman by the name of Moiseev was not delighted with such a democratic gesture, growling disapprovingly: "What kind of minister shakes hands with me?".
