Autographed photo of Russian President Vladimir Putin

Vladimir Putin is a Russian statesman, politician and military figure. The current President of the Russian Federation.

As a child, the president loved watching Soviet tapes about secret service agents and dreamed of working in government departments: "Even before I graduated from high school, I had a desire to work in intelligence. But soon I wanted to become a sailor. But again, as an agent. And at the very beginning, I really wanted to become a pilot."

At school, the future head of state was not eager to study, was not a diligent student and mostly got C's, but teachers always noted his potential and flexibility of mind. The President said that his enthusiasm came to him already in high school, where he developed a craving for reading and humanities. He was inspired to "Gnaw the granite of science" by his beloved German teacher, Vera Gurevich, who later wrote memoirs about her famous student's school years. To this day, Putin remembers his teacher with respect and keeps in touch with her.
