Federico Fellini is an Italian film director and screenwriter. Winner of five Academy Awards and the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

Federico Fellini was born in Rimini, Italy, a port and resort town on the Adriatic coast. Young Fellini was a diligent student, but he was really fascinated by his work, whether it was drawing or puppet theater. In 1939, in an effort to please his parents, Federico enrolled in the law faculty of the University of Rome — but his archives say that Fellini did not attend any lectures.

Being a big fan of American comics, intrigued by the image of a reporter in Hollywood cinema, Fellini began to try himself as a cartoonist, journalist and, finally, a screenwriter.
