The success of the film is largely due to the amazing cast. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson and Matt Damon. The latter, in preparation for filming, worked for several months as a police officer in one of the departments of the state of Massachusetts. Such training helped Damon to get a better feel for the role, the psychology of his character, and also to learn professional skills in practice.
