Christopher Lloyd is an American film and television actor. Winner of three Emmy Awards. He is best known for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown in the film trilogy "Back to the Future", as well as for the films "Flying Over the Cuckoo's Nest", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "The Addams Family", "Route 60".

Initially, according to the plot of the film, Doc Brown was supposed to make a time machine out of an ordinary refrigerator, but the script was rewritten and a DeLorean DMC-12 car was used as the basis. At the time of filming, the car looked modern and stylish, besides the stainless steel body gave it the appearance of a spaceship. Even the hero of the movie, Doc Brown, said: "If you build a time machine into a car, it's better to build a stylish one."
