About this product
Kevin Eastman is an American comic book artist, publisher, and writer. He became widely known for creating ninja turtle comics in collaboration with Peter Laird. One of the two founders of the Mirage Studio. He is also the owner and publisher of the magazine "Heavy Metal".
Eastman spent his entire childhood influenced by comic books, especially Jack Kirby, and drew incessantly wherever possible. One day, when he was 12-13 years old, his mother said a phrase that he remembers to this day.: "God, you better be good at this, because you're not good anywhere else!" But his father was against his talents and his son going to art school: "I know you like to draw, but it's useless." Kevin enrolled at the Portland Art School and decided that he would get the most out of the school and stay with his opinion.
