About this product
Chris Evans is an American actor, best known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel films. Evans began his career with TV series and, in addition to working in superhero films, appeared in such films as "Inferno", "Scott Pilgrim vs all" and "Get Knives". In 2014, he made his directorial debut with the film Before We Part, where he also starred.
Chris Evans wanted to give up the role of Captain America in the first part of The Avengers, as he was afraid of being trapped in the image of one superhero for many years. Previously, Evans played the role of another superhero, the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movie, so he didn't want to stay in the same image for long. The directors of The Avengers, the Russo brothers, convinced him to agree, explaining that he would be able to combine the role in The Avengers with other projects, including other superhero movies.
