Gerard Depardieu is a French actor known for his striking roles in drama and comedy films. One of the most prolific actors of our time, he starred in more than 200 films. His range of roles is huge: from Hollywood blockbusters and festival masterpieces to low-budget comedies and television series. Depardieu himself admits that he does not have any particular acting style and he acts in everything he likes, while he does not care about the quality of the tape being shot or its genre.

Asterix and Obelix vs Caesar is a comedy adventure film based on the popular French comic book series. The film takes place in ancient Gaul, where a Gallic village inhabited by brave warriors is resisting the Roman army led by Julius Caesar. The plot centers on two friends: Asterix, a small but agile warrior, and Obelix, a huge strongman.

In the movie, all the scenes where Obelix eats huge amounts of food were real. Gerard Depardieu actually ate everything in front of him, including a whole pig, which, of course, did not reflect well on his figure.
