Trujillo's career in film and television has spanned more than 30 years. During this time, he performed more than 70 roles. The first notable role was the role of the Iroquois leader in the historical adventure film "Black Cassock", the actor became most famous after the release of Mel Gibson's film "Apocalypse", where he played the role of the Maya warlord Empty Wolf. On the set of the film, Trujillo was the only professional actor with film experience.
