Woody Allen is an iconic American film director. The proof of the worldwide recognition of his talent is the multitude of prestigious awards, including four Oscars, which he never attended. The director sent all the awards to his parents, preferring to engage exclusively in creative work. Woody Allen managed to create a new genre – "intellectual comedy" and present the audience with many legendary paintings: "Annie Hall", "Midnight in Paris", "Manhattan", "Match Point" and others.

Woody Allen's main credo in life is "Do it yourself." In most projects, he performs in all roles at once.: he writes the script himself, selects the team and, of course, takes part in the filming directly as an actor.

In an interview, the director admitted that he would like to become Louis Armstrong, as he is a big fan of classical and jazz music. Allen plays clarinet in the New Orleans Jazz Band, which has recorded 2 albums.
