Jason Muse is an American actor of Polish descent, best known for playing Jay in a series of films by his longtime friend Kevin Smith.
Muse made his film debut in 1994, playing the role of Jay in Smith's debut film Clerks. Smith himself played the role of his partner Silent Bob. Later, Muse starred in all of Smith's films in which the couple Jay and Silent Bob appeared: "Loafers", "Chasing Amy", "Dogma", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", "Clerks 2". Muse's other films include a starring role in Stylish Things (with Paris Hilton) and a cameo as Jay in Scream 3, in addition to which he starred in a number of independent low-budget films.
