Photo from the movie "X-Men" autographed by actress Halle Berry

Halle Berry is an American actress and director. Winner of the Academy Awards (2002 — the first black actress in the history of cinema to receive it for her performance in the title role), the Golden Globe (2000) and the Emmy (2000).

Surprisingly, Halle Berry, as Storm in the X-Men film series, had a difficult relationship with the character and his visual personification. Although Halle Berry has become an icon for many comic book fans, initially she had some difficulty getting used to the role of Storm. In early films, makeup and costume did not always fully reflect the power and beauty of the comic book character, which caused criticism. However, Berry put a lot of her energy and depth into the role of Storm, creating a multifaceted image of a strong and complex woman who is not always easy to visually perceive. This contradictory fact - the complex relationship of the actress with the character and the not always successful visualization of the character - makes the story of her participation in the franchise more interesting and shows how acting can overcome visual inconsistencies.
