The Kosmos pen is dedicated to the achievements of present-day Russia and the former USSR in the exploration of outer space and is hand-painted by the masters of the lacquer miniature of the Fedoskinsky workshops.
The Milky Way shines on the dark blue body and the stars sparkle. In its upper part, this endless space is cut by the first artificial Earth satellite launched in the USSR in 1957.
The silver rim of the handle depicts Lunokhod-1 walking on the surface of the Moon, where it successfully operated from November 17, 1970 to September 14, 1971.
And finally, in the lower part of the hull, the blue enamel sky is furrowed by the Vostok-1 spacecraft, which on April 12, 1961, lifted the first man, Yuri Gagarin, into low–Earth orbit into outer space.
All these images are made in the technique of lacquer miniature and inlaid with mother of pearl.
The limit is 111 fountain pens and 111 ink pens.
