Translucent satin crystal was used to create the sculpture, which was released in a limited edition of 800 copies. A guarantee of trust: The store Luxpodarki.ru is an official partner Daum

Daum is a French house of artistic glass and crystal, founded in Nancy in 1878. For more than a century, the brand has been developing the traditions of French decorative art, combining complex craft techniques, sculptural expressiveness and recognizable work with color and light.

The history of Daum is closely connected with the Art Nouveau era and the Nancy Art School. Already at the end of the 19th century, the masters of the house experimented with form, relief and colored glass, creating works in which natural motifs, floral ornaments and plastic lines became part of the artistic image. Over time, this aesthetic has become one of the important components of the brand's style.

A special place in the Daum heritage is occupied by the technique of pâte de cristal — "crystal paste". It allows you to create complex relief shapes with a rich depth of color, smooth transitions of shades and characteristic translucency. Thanks to the technology, each product gets its own nuances of texture and coloring, and the light passing through the material emphasizes the volume and makes the composition especially expressive.

Daum is characterized by a combination of decorative art and sculpture. Flowers, animals, female figures, natural motifs and abstract forms receive a complex plastic interpretation, so that products are perceived not just as interior elements, but as independent artistic objects.

Collaboration with artists and sculptors has become an important part of the house's history. Daum regularly invited famous authors to create works specifically for the manufactory, combining the master's individual artistic language with the brand's traditional technologies. This approach allowed the house to keep in touch with classical French art and at the same time develop a modern design.

Many stages of creating Daum products are performed manually and require high precision and experience. From the preparation of the mold and working with color to the final processing of the surface and plastic, products go through many sequential operations. It is this complexity of production that gives each work its characteristic depth and artistic expressiveness.

Daum is a French decorative art in which crystal becomes a material for sculpture. Rich hues, complex relief, natural motifs and handwork make the brand's products recognizable and transform them into expressive interior accents and valuable collectibles.
