Damir Krivenko's sculpture "Kokoshnik XXI"

The sculpture reinterprets the traditional image of the Russian kokoshnik through an expressive contrast of modern technology and decorative aesthetics. The composition is based on fragments of computer boards, forming a complex geometric pattern with characteristic golden-copper shades.

The lower part is decorated with a voluminous decor: large beads form an expressive border, and numerous threads of small beads fall freely, creating the effect of a light veil. The golden decorative elements accentuate the silhouette and echo the metallic details of the electronic components.

The work is particularly expressive due to the combination of opposites — the technological structure of printed circuit boards, the traditional shape of a cocoanut. The composition is mounted on a laconic metal stand with a stone base, which makes it perceived as an independent art object for a modern interior.
