The statuettes of the outstanding French comic artist Guillermo Forcino are comic book characters made of polyresin, an artificial stone improved with the help of modern technologies. The humorous characters, funny scenes and vivid emotions that the master managed to convey were liked by all connoisseurs of modern art.
Forchino studied at the Sorbonne, and then worked in Argentina - in the workshop at the Museum of Art in Rosario, creating his first three-dimensional figures made of fabric and papier-mache. He experimented with different materials until he discovered polyresin, a unique stone with a pleasant smooth surface, which is characterized by strength and plasticity, which allows you to make even the smallest details expressive.
Even as a child, Vera Timmons witnessed many bad deeds. One day she saw her little neighbor Peter, nicknamed Freckles, tearing her friend Catherine's teddy bear with a sarcastic smile. The following week, the same Peter, armed with a slingshot, smashed Mrs. Carrigan's window. Another time, Freckles got into Aunt Mary's vase with dirty hands and stole a whole handful of lollipops. But even if Vera Timmons talked about it, no one believed her, everyone said she was cheating, and blamed her younger sister for all the crimes. This injustice of accusing her of lying, despite the fact that she was telling the truth, pushed Vera Timmons to study the law. Years passed, and after a brilliant graduation from the university, Vera was proud to get the profession of a lawyer, which she had dreamed of so much. The only thing she's never been able to figure out is how that awful Peter Freckles, who eventually went into politics, was able to become a senator.
