About this product
The sculpture of a lioness with cubs is made in the ancient technique of pate de verre ("dough made of glass"), revived by the artisans of Daum. The iconic method for the brand creates a unique texture and expressive play of light, as if a warm glow emanates from inside the product. To do this, small pieces of colored crystal are baked in a refractory mold. The material is dense, and the fine details are almost transparent.
