The publication of Russian Heraldry was conceived by the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of the Arts in order to provide persons interested in herbology with a brief reference guide to understanding coats of arms and their description. Our book is a modern edition of the fundamental research of outstanding specialists in Russian heraldry V.K. Lukomsky and N.A. Tipolt.
The illustrative part was made under the supervision of I.A. Bilibin. It is printed according to the 1915 edition.
