Alexander Mikhailov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, film director, People's Artist of the RSFSR. In total, he performed more than 75 film roles and about 50 theater roles.
"Love and Doves" is a Soviet lyrical comedy directed by Vladimir Menshov.
One of the most technically interesting scenes of the film is the episode when Vasily falls through the open door of his house and finds himself in the sea, where he meets Raisa Zakharova. It had to be shot in one take without interruptions and turned out to be a difficult task. The first take failed: while the divers were underwater removing Mikhailov's suit, he forgot the text from stress. Surfacing, he said to Gurchenko: "Lucy, what am I saying?" and the actress began to suggest words to him. In the second take, the actor had to cut his tie underwater: it was so long that there was a risk of dying from lack of air.
In another episode, when Vasily secretly looks through the window of his house, the film "Moscow does not believe in tears", also shot by Vladimir Menshov, is on TV.
