The photo features autographs from drummer Nick Mason, keyboardist Richard Wright, guitarist and vocalist David Gilmour, members of the legendary Pink Floyd band.
On June 8, 1989, the musicians performed in Moscow at the Olympic Sports Complex, where this picture was taken.
The memories of eyewitnesses from the day of the concert are interesting: "People were already standing quite tightly on the Prospekt Mira platform, asking for extra tickets. At the escalator, in the lobby, in the underpass — all the way to the Olympic. Crowds of people hoping to get to the concert, all without a chance. Some stood with placards. Some hippie reported that he had come to the concert from Vladivostok and would buy a ticket for any amount. It was possible to sell a ticket for two or three hundred rubles. The dealers were a wealthy caste."
It was possible to buy a ticket at the Olympic ticket office only upon presentation of an Afghan veteran's ID. In the city's theater box offices, they could only be found by chance, and in the worst seats on the side stands near the ceiling. The "Afghans" sold their tickets to resellers literally "without leaving the box office," as a result of which, on concert days, the price of the coveted piece of paper ranged from 50 to 75 rubles.
