In a letter in French, the great engineer discusses the details of the floodlight supply. In particular, Eiffel states: "I have sent La Tour [Eiffel] the wish that you explained to me regarding the supply of floodlights...". The text in the letter, dated in the summer of 1900, was placed on both sides of one sheet and written with a purple fountain pen.
Gustave Eiffel addresses a letter to an unknown woman. In the upper left part of the letterhead, the address of the mansion belonging to Eiffel, where he later died in the 1920s, is printed - 1, Rue Rabelais.
