The pen embodied everything that the roaring 1920s were known for: an abundance of popular cultures; it was a time when many people tried new cultures and rejected traditional rules. Showcasing 130 years of design innovation and craftsmanship, the anniversary edition of the Duofold pen will be unique but recognizable. Lapis Lazuli (Lapis Lazuli) The intense blue lapis lazuli model was originally released in 1927, being a bright and distinctive addition to the already existing range of pens. The purpose of its creation was to regain a share in the then competitive market of colored pens. The Duofold Lapis Lazuli model is named after a dark blue gemstone.
