And, as it turned out, the best, free, beautiful, fragrant and precious memories of a lifetime.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In the summer of 2020, my mother left, who accustomed me to potted non-wilting flowers that were transplanted into gardens and lawns. Shortly before her death, symbolically, my first jewelry herbarium of 25 plants saw the light.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>It was with cypripedium in the grass in the copse of childhood that my acquaintance with orchids began. I still had to find out and believe that there are 20-35 thousand species of orchids in the world. And I involuntarily continue to compare Asian and American orchids with the \"boots of the Virgin\", with my favorite shoes, kukushkin's or Mary's.  And the fact that, according to legend, Venus hid from her pursuers in the northern forests is especially pleasant to me. I prefer the summer north to the south, too. I admit, this bright flower does not remind me of shoes. I see butterfly wings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The first herbaceous orchid in my herbarium is both a tribute and another gesture in favor of nature conservation.  This flower is listed not only in the Red Books of all European countries, but also in the international Book of Nature Conservation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Graceful plants live up to 100 years.
