The Russian brand Solonoble was founded in 2020. The main idea of the brand is the reincarnation in Russia of the ancient European game of Solitaire, checkers for one player.
Solonoble is a direct descendant and keeper of the traditions of "Solitario", a favorite hobby of French aristocrats. Researchers suggest that he owes his appearance to the forced seclusion of noble persons within the walls of the Bastille. The recluses whiled away the time by rearranging pegs or stones across the makeshift field.
Following the French royal court, representatives of high society around the world became interested in this game. Various analogues of intellectual strategy have settled in English living rooms and mansions of the New World. They had various names- French Solitare, Solo Noble or Madagascar checkers. However, they were united by one thing – they all offered a non-trivial way of solitary leisure and relaxation, during which intellectual skills are improved.
Continuing the tradition of the game, Solonoble creates a premium version of the game, which serves as a real interior decoration. Only natural materials are used in the production - valuable woods and semi-precious stones. This makes the brand's products a truly unique gift for any occasion.
