The statuettes of the outstanding French comic artist Guillermo Forcino are comic book characters made of polyresin, an artificial stone improved with the help of modern technologies. The humorous characters, funny skits and vivid emotions that the master managed to convey appealed to all connoisseurs of modern art.
Forcino studied at the Sorbonne, and then worked in Argentina in the workshop at the Rosario Museum of Art, creating his first three-dimensional figures made of fabric and papier-mache. He experimented with different materials until he discovered polystone, a unique stone with a pleasant smooth surface, which is characterized by strength and ductility, which makes it possible to make even the smallest details expressive.
"Doctor, is it going to hurt a lot?" the frightened patient asked Mariluse Leon, a dentist at the Happy Teeth clinic, who was waiting impatiently, holding a drill in her hand. "Of course not, darling, you won't feel anything!" she replied, trying to calm him down. Listen, let's do this, take this tube of toothpaste in your hand and if it hurts, squeeze the tube to calm down." The doctor turned on the drill, but did not have time to put it in his mouth, as the patient squeezed the tube with such force that toothpaste splashed onto the ceiling, and the doctor's face was covered with toothpaste, as if someone had thrown a cake at her.
