The Kieninger company was founded in 1912 by a watchmaker named Joseph Kieninger and today is the world's oldest factory for the production of floor, wall and fireplace clocks. In 1993, Kieninger became part of the Howard Miller Group Corporation (USA), the world's largest manufacturer of floor clocks.
