The Stargift collection features an action by Richard Simon & Co. The document was signed by Vera Andreevna Simon, the wife of the founder of the above-mentioned joint—stock company, Richard Simon. It is assumed that at the time of the release of this action, her husband had already passed away. The campaign also includes signatures of factory manager Max Jacobson, Technical Director F. G. Wolfson and Commercial Director A. Arendt.
The company "Richard Simon & Co.", according to the industry directory of 1909, was a handkerchief factory, producing cotton and woolen shawls, scarves, handkerchiefs and tablecloths.
Initially, the founder of the factory was the Moscow merchant Ivanov, then Richard Simon acquired the factory. In an effort to increase the profitability of the company and attract the capital needed to modernize production, Simon founded the joint-stock company Richard Simon & Co. The authorized capital of the company was 1,250,000 rubles.
The current factory "Krasnaya Zarya" is a direct successor to the business of the Richard Simon & Co. Company. Only Krasnaya Zarya is located in Sokolniki in Moscow, and in the past the company was located on Irininskaya Street, renamed Friedrich Engels Street in Soviet times.
