Sergey Yesenin is a Russian poet, a representative of Novokrestyan poetry and lyrics, and in a later period of creativity - imagism.
Sergei Yesenin had an entrepreneurial streak. For some time, he owned a well-known literary cafe in Moscow circles, or rather a bar, the Pegasus Stall on Tverskaya Street. It was a kind of headquarters of the imagist literary movement, which was headed by Yesenin and Marienhoff himself. The poet also owned a bookstore, where he managed to work out a little bit in the publishing business.
