Based on folklore records, the book "Tales of the Gypsies" by the famous historian, writer and teacher Nikolai Albetovich Kuhn was first published in 1922. It has not been reprinted since and has become a bibliographic rarity. This edition includes both parts of it: "Gypsy Beliefs" and "Gypsy Tales". The text is preceded by a short introduction "An evening in a Gypsy camp".
The book reproduces drawings by L. M. Alekseevskaya, which decorated the 1922 edition.
Execution: Classic European handmade binding made of genuine leather. The flyleaf is made of Malmero designer paper with embossed ornament with gold foil. 6 bandages on the spine, hand-made. Gold captal made of genuine leather. The sawn–off block is gold with a torsion bar. Embossed with pancake, gold and colored foil. Lasse.
