The most famous work of the Nobel Prize-winning Swedish writer Selma Lagerlef, The Wonderful Journey of Nils with Wild Geese, is given in its original, unabridged form in the translation of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Lyubov Borisovna Khavkina, which was performed by her in 1908.
The publication is decorated with more than a hundred magnificent drawings by the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Boris Arkadyevich Diodorov, whose name is included in the Honorary List of the world's best illustrators of children's books.
