Al Pacino is an American actor, director and screenwriter. Most famous for his gangster roles are Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy by Francis Ford Coppola and Tony Montana in the Brian De Palma film Scarface.
Serpico is an American biographical film directed by Sidney Lumet, released in 1973. The film is based on the biography book of the same name written by Peter Maas, and tells the story of police officer Frank Serpico, who came out with revelations of mass corruption in the police.
The filming took place in reverse chronological order. First, Al Pacino starred in scenes where he has long hair and a beard; then, in each of the episodes, they were shortened for him. This was done in order to give the audience the impression that the hair and beard of the hero of Al Pacino grow naturally.
