Potanin (1835-1920), G. E. Grum-Grzhimailo (1860-1936) and M. E. Grum-Grzhimailo (1861-1921) and, of course, first of all, thanks to N. M. Przhevalsky (1839-1888), the map of Asia has completely changed. Russian travelers managed to draw the attention of the West to the achievements of science in Russia and were awarded the highest scientific honors.
